 Actor Samuel L. Jackson finds it easy to stay away from his past drug demons because he's convinced himself that drug abuse equals extreme poverty. Jackson admits, he had nothing when he was a junkie and when he quit, his career took off. He says, "In my mind, if I do any of that shit again, I'll go right back to what I was before, which is penniless, crazy, nasty, stinking and out of my mind. I used to have drug dreams all the time but I haven't had one for years." (Source) |
