JANET JACKSON once took cocaine - after being tricked into believing it was medication by an unscrupulous doctor.
The 40-year-old star was preparing for a concert in Japan when she felt an intense pain in her vocal cords.
Deciding to seek out medical help, the Together Again singer had no idea a doctor would advise her to take class A drugs.
Janet said: "He gave me some liquidy stuff and it helped me so much... It was in a vial."
However, the star was horrified to discover the mystery liquid was a form of cocaine - which can be legally prescribed by qualified ear, nose and throat physicians.
Upon hearing the news Janet "broke down in tears" and was disgusted when the medic offered her another dose of the addictive drug.
She added: "I started crying and told him to take it - that I didn't want it."Source
