Jay Z looks set to become the next Donald Trump, after buying up a huge plot of New York real estate with the intention of turning it into a hotel or art gallery.
The hip-hop entrepreneur paid $66 million for a chunk of land in Manhattan's upmarket Chelsea through his company, J Hotels, and top secret planning is now underway for the project.
Jay Zpartner Scott Shnay says, "It's a great piece of land in a great neighborhood."
The star already has a nightclub, 40/40 in Chelsea, and is planning to open a branch in Las Vegas.
