It's no secret that Whitney Houston's long-troubled ex-husband Bobby Brown has been working overtime trying to get back into the superstar's good graces and much more. Brown has even told a number of close associates that he is convinced, "Whitney and me will get married again." For several weeks, a member of Houston's family has been telling me of deep concerns, supposedly also expressed by quite a few of Houston's other relatives and close friends, about Brown being a threat to the singer's sobriety, given his continuing struggles with drugs and alcohol. Even Houston cousin Dionne Warwick reportedly has again warned Houston about Brown. However, the other day, Brown apparently "did himself in," according to the family source. "He showed up at Whitney's totally stoned ... but here's the good news: She threw him out!" Houston was said to have screamed at Brown, "Stay away from me!" and made it clear the only contact she wanted with him would be to discuss their daughter Bobbi Kristina. Source |
