In the new issue of Fashion Rocks Magazine, Jennifer Hudson discuss being a artist, proving to the world she's different from her character, "Effie White" in Dreamgirls, and finding her place in music.
Jennifer Hudson on album,
"It's not hip-hop. Let's just say that. I don't have anything against it, but it's not the music I like to sing. There's some pop in there, and some R & B - soul, but not hip-hop."
Hudson is working with Jam and Lewis (longtime producers of Janet Jackson) and Rodney Jerkins. She is still finishing her album, due in the fall. Jennifer favorite song so far is a piano-led ballad called, "Invisible."
