Kelly Rowland Desperate To Shed Destiny's Child Tag

Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland was desperate to shed her girl-group image when she went solo - because she wanted to "have her own space". The singer, who launched her first standalone effort Dilemma in 2003, admits she wanted the chance to impress people with her talent, and not her pop band heritage.
She says, "I wanted people to notice me as Kelly Rowland the singer, not just Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child. I don't want to be funny when I say that - Destiny's Child is the reason why I'm here and it's part of my history - but at the same time I'm feeling my own space." (Starpulse News)
I must say, "Fashion, Fashion, Fashion is my first passion!" My second passion would have to be indulging myself with Pop culture and of course, 'Celebrity gossip.'
