Smith' about a month ago, and while being interviewed, he said that a lot of comedians aren't holding it down, and 'aren't doing what they need to do to stay funny' - and called out Mike Epps by name. He didn't say it in a "fuck Mike Epps" way, but it seemed evident that he meant it - Smith didn't ask for any names when Katt mentioned the subpar comedians, but Katt made it a point to reiterate that comment a and mention Mike Epps.
