Thursday, October 05, 2006 |
Just when you thought female rappers were going into extinction, Eve quits her self-titled TV sitcom to reunite with rap. Here I Am, Eve's first album since 2002's gold-certified Eve-Olution promises to be different from her first three releases. The rumored lead single, "Tambourine," is expected to debut later this year. The production lineup for Here I Am reads like a hit-making factory: Dr. Dre, The Neptunes, Swizz Beatz, and Timbaland. As we welcome Eve back to the hip-hop world, we also say goodbye to her UPN television series. ___________________________________________________________________
"I was really excited about it but I needed to get away from it to do music 'cause there's no way you can do both," says Eve. "I'm sad on one hand 'cause I really fell in love with the cast but this is something that I really want to do. I missed music," Eve told Billboard.com ___________________________________________________________________ Here I Am is due out on Full Surface/Aftermath sometime next year.....Source |
