___________________________________________________ Access Hollywood has learned from a source close to Whitney Houston that the star has filed for a legal separation from her long-time husband Bobby Brown. The source says legal documents were filed Friday and that Bobby Brown was served with those documents yesterday. Houston plans to officially file for divorce in October.Bobby Brown & Whitney Houston got married on July 18th 1992. As you recall, Whitney's troubled hubby, Bobby Brown, recently left the Grammy Award-winning singer for professional video ho, Karrine 'Superhead' Steffans while she was getting help for addiction. But that hasn't stopped Whitney from attmepting yet another comeback. With the help of J Records founder Clive Davis, Houston is ready to head back into the studio and record a major comeback album. The two have been working together for a while now and have already picked out six songs for Whitney's to record. Because of her last screw-up of a comeback, the singer will reportedly refrain from doing any writing or production work on the new project and will instead concentrate on showcasing her powerhouse vocals. The new project from Whitney will be her first since 'One Wish: The Holiday Album' was released in 2003.
