Looks like R&B singer Brandy is planning a small-screen comeback. According to an entry on imdb.com, TV writer and Girlfriends creator Mara Brock Akil is developing an as-yet-untitled project for the singer. The plot outline for the show involves a "young New Yorker" who "moves to Los Angeles to work as an entertainment editor." This won't be Akil's first time collaborating with Brandy for television--she previously worked as a writer on the singer's UPN show Moesha. Brandy is currently working on her fifth studio album, which is schedule for an early 2007 release. In the meantime, new Brandy vocals can be heard on Diddy's new album, Press Play, which drops October 3.
