OutKast's Idlewild musical grossed an estimated $5.9 million at the box office to place ninth for Universal Pictures, but it averaged a robust $6,064 at a relatively modest 973 theaters - the best in the top 10. These were the top 10 movies at the box office this weekend:
1. Invincible - $17m 2. Talladega Nights - $8m 3. Little Miss Sunshine - $7.5m 4. Beerfest - $6.5m 5. Accepted - $6.4m 6. World Trade Center - $6.3m 7. Step Up - $6.1m 8. Idlewild - $5.9m 9. Snakes on a Plane - $5.8m 10. Barnyard - $5.4m
