Sean Combs, the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy or P Diddy, is beating the rap and giving singing a shot on his new CD, Press Play.
Do what, Diddy? It's a sound he describes as "hip-hop R&B" and fans can hear it on two tracks on his new album, out Oct. 3. For the forthcoming album, Diddy collaborated with an impressive list of writers and producers, including Kanye West, Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Timbaland and Mario Winans. The CD kicks off with a spoken-word piece called "The Future" and features "Tell Me" with Christina Aguilera, "Thought You Said" with Brandy and contributions from Mary J. Blige, Fergie of Black Eyed Peas, Ciara and Big Boi from Outkast Diddy sings on two tracks - the pop song "Special Feelings" and a moodier track called "Last Night," featuring Keyshia Cole. Diddy plans to tour in February in support of the CD. Diddy should be concern with helping his artists out on, 'Bad Boy' before he even consider doing his own album. That's why his label sucks along with his artists because he's to concern with himself. [Source:ONTD]
