According to Jet Magazine, Michelle Williams said her new project will be refreshing to her and her fans.
"With this R&B album that I'm going to do, I'm going to be me. I told my label that I can only be me.... just down to earth, humble, cool, country, real, country, real. I love to laugh. I love to help people through because sometimes when you help other people you're actually helped yourself in a way because you learned something out of the process."
Williams plans to make Chicago her primary residence and fulfill one of her childhood dreams.
"I've always, even as a little girl wanted a condo overlooking Lake Michigan."
Though she's moving out of the spot-light of the Los Angeles life, she says she doesn't plan to slow down anytime soon.
"I'm still young; I still want to ride this as long as I can. I want to simmer down when I'm engaged to be married and have kids, that's when I'll slow down. But until then, while I'm single and have no attachments of any sort, but just a dog. I'm going to run the world, just go."
She adds, "Eventually, I think I want to go back to school. I went to Illinois State for two years, and I want to finish a degree in criminal justice and minor in sociology. I'm a 'Law & Order' chick, 'CSI' and '24.' I love forensics and all that stuff. When I'm having a lazy day, that's what I do."
