Former Destiny's Child star LaToya Luckett was so desperate for fame after leaving the girl group she considered becoming a background singer. After quitting the group five year ago, Luckett has struggled to make a name for herself as a solo artist but now she has a new album out and a slot on the Mary J. Blige tour.
She thanks God for helping her get through her toughest times. She says, "God showed up and he showed out! Now, I will be touring with Mary J. Blige soon, and I will be releasing my album."
