PHILADELPHIA, May 30 (UPI) -- Philadelphia police investigating the shooting and robbery of rapper Beanie Sigel say the artist's account of the incident checks out.
Police initially voiced doubts about Sigel's story when investigators failed to find any shell casings at the scene or residents who heard the gunshots, SOHH.com reported. However, further investigation backed the rapper's account and police were looking for the suspects as well as anyone with information about the crime, SOHH.com said.
